This shifter shortens the throw by about 40% and has locked-out reverse gear accessible via a pull-up ring.
The length of the shifter places it next to the steering wheel for that short hand travel, which combined with the shorter throw will give you an edge over the competition.
The shifter is self centering with a springed mechanism and adjustable. It uses the standard shifter cables, no modification is necessary.
Our shifters are made in-house with strong steel basket with CNC milled cable mounting positions, billet aluminium shifter rod and mechanisms, billet aluminium knob.
Custom powder coating colours for the basket and coloured anodization for the mechanism and knob available with custom order (the exact cost depends on the choices).
We can make any size knob, although we find the standard shape to be the most comfortable in our hands. Still, if you require a different shape - please get in touch with your requirements.
This specific shifter also fits the 1993-2000 Opel/Vauxhall Corsa with a few rivnuts to secure it to the car - a video of this in action:
